Location of the vacation home

The home is located in Guanajuato, one of the most beautiful cities in Mexico. The house is twenty-minute drive from Leon "El Bajio" airport (BJX). The house is on a hillside just above the old train station, three-minute walk away from the world-famous Museo de las Momias. Description of the vacation home

The colonial-style house was built eight years ago with three floors and a courtyard. It is surrounded by a tall fence for privacy and security.

It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk down to the historic downtown of Guanajuato. Returning to the house can be a bit more time consuming but a good exercise due to the steep steps to the house. If you do not prefer to walk, you can always take a taxi (twenty pesos, $2) or a bus (4 pesos, 40c) back to the parking lot behind the Museo de las Momias. We recommend this especially if you have mobility problems. The house is not wheelchair accessible due to many stairs and its location on a narrow callejon with no direct access for cars. Accommodations

Second floor has two bedrooms with two beds in each room. There is a small room with a single bed on the third floor. The house sleeps 4-5 people.

Rental Rates

Half of the rental price is required for reservation. Rest of the payment is due on arrival. Utilities (tap water, gas, electricity) are included in rentals that are less than a month. We will supply the first five gallons of the purified drinking water. You can purchase water refills for about 19 pesos ($2) from the local corner store few houses away. We will supply clean linens and towels every week.

• We do not charge a cleaning deposit. We trust our guests to keep the house as it was on arrival.
